PURPOSE:To prevent invasion of a foreign matter and improve cooling efficiency by providing an inner side of generator cover with a cover for preventing invasion of foreign matter and an inner periphery of the latter cover with a rectifying guide. CONSTITUTION:Inner sides of generator covers 2, 3 are provided with covers 18, 18' for preventing invasion of foreign matter. Air taken in from inlet ports 16, 16' of said generator covers 2, 3 by fans 10, 10' fixed on sides of claw type magnetic poles 5, 5' passes through windows of the covers 18, 18' for preventing invasion of foreign matter; and a part of air cools a magneto coil 7, passes through a cooling air discharging and rectifying guide 19 molded into an integral body with the covers 18, 18' for preventing invasion of foreign matter and is discharged from outlet ports 17 of the generator covers 2, 3.
