PURPOSE:To improve vapor venting operation in high temperature without damaging the pump efficiency in low temperature in a turbine type fuel pump having a vapor venting hole in a fuel path by constituting the vapor venting hole from an aggregate of a plurality of holes disposed close to and along the fuel path. CONSTITUTION:A turbine type fuel pump sucks fuel from an intake port 5 by an impeller 4 rotated about a shaft 2 through a joint 3 by a motor according to the action of a groove 4a engraved on the outer periphery of the impeller 4 and discharges fuel from a discharge port 7 through a fuel path 6. Vapor generated in the pump escapes into a fuel tank from a vapor venting hole 8 formed on the way of fuel path 6 near the intake port 5. Then, the vapor venting hole 8 is constituted from an aggregate of two holes 11A, 11B close to each other and having diameter smaller than conventional ones. Thus, interference of vapor with each other is restrained to improve the vapor venting efficiency.
