REACTIVE HOT-MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can develop adhesive power when in use without deterioration of the initial adhesive strength, by using as its principal constituents a thermoplastic rubber and a urethane prepolymer containing a specified mixed polyol and polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive composition composed mainly of a thermoplastic rubber and a urethane prepolymer containing a polyisocyanate and a mixed polyol comprising a hydroxyl-terminated hydrocarbon polyol and a polyoxybutylene glycol. The urethane prepolymer content of the composition is preferably 20-70wt%. The weight ratio of the hydroxyl-terminated hydrocarbon polyol to the polyoxybutylene glycol is preferably 80/20-20/80.
