PURPOSE:To improve an insulating strength of coil end by providing a plastic cover so that respective coil ends of a first unit coil are covered, and by filling a space between said cover and coil end with a filler made of a gel thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:A coil 3 is constituted by connection of a plurality of unit coils in series with each other. In said coil, a cover 4 with almost U-shaped cross section having insulating properties, heat resistance and elasticity is provided to cover respective coil ends 3a of a first unit coil positioned on each phase power source side out of the coil 3. In this case, a filler 5 made of a gel thermosetting resin is applied to the inside of said cover 4 to fill a space between the cover 4 and coil end 3a when said cover 4 covers said coil end 3a.
