<p>A locking device for a vehicle is disclosed, which comprises a latch lever capable of being rotated in mesh with a striker being advanced, a locking lever for engaging with and thereby blocking the rotation of the latch lever, the latch lever and locking lever being pivotally mounted on a base plate, and a locking lever provided on the base plate for engaging with the side of the locking lever or latch lever opposite the base plate and thereby blocking the movement of the engaging lever away from the surface of the base plate.</p> |
