PURPOSE:To enable application of single shock absorber at positions different load or vibration, by feeding gas in/out from a gas sealing means and regulating the inner pressure, and making the modulus of elasticity variable. CONSTITUTION:An annular, hollow thick rubber 5 is provided between upper and lower members 1, 2 and a gas sealing space 6 is provided between them. A fluid port 7 associated with a plug is providing while penetrating through the thick rubber 5 in the gas sealing space 6 so as to enable feed in/out of air. Such a shock absorber supports the load functioning from the upper member 1 onto the lower member 2 and absorbs the vibration of the members. When air is fed in/out from the gas sealing 6 and the inner pressure is varied, the modulus of elasticity can be regulated according to the magnitude of load and the strength of vibration, thereby the shock absorber can be applied at positions of different load or vibration. |
