PURPOSE:To reduce the resonance sharpness of a diaphragm of a flat type speaker, etc. to improve sound quality by providing openings to the upper and lower skin materials to obtain different levels of mechanical strength between both skin materials. CONSTITUTION:An upper skin material 1, a lower skin material 2 and a core material 3 of a honeycomb structure are laminated to each other to obtain a diaphragm. These materials 1 and 2 have openings 6 and 7 respectively. In this case, the openings 6 and 7 is made to have a different form or different size. Otherwise the opening degrees are made different between both materials 1 and 2. As a result, the mechanical strength is different between materials 1 and 2 and therefore these materials have different resonance frequencies. This reduces the resonance sharpness of the diaphragm and improves the sound quality. Furthermore the weight of the diaphragm is reduced by forming openings 6 and 7. Then damping sheet body 4 and 5 are bonded to the diaphragm to reduce the vibration of the diaphragm and also to prevent the corrosion of the material 3. |
