The present invention relates to shaped particles which are employed to form catalytic extrudates which may be employed in catalytically promoted processed, including hydrocarbon processing operations. The quadrulobe shape of the present invention have better overall physical properties regarding diffusion limitation, pressure drop and crushing strength. The shaped particles facilitate hydrocarbon processing operations, especially those utilizing packed catalyst beds. |
