PURPOSE:To obtain a stop mechanism suitable for a low voltage driving by meshing a power assistance gear with a gear transmitted with power from a motor to unlock the mechanical locking state such as reproduction, and kicking a locking plate for plural number of times when stopping the operation to bring the gear into the stop state. CONSTITUTION:A relay gear 37 always turned during the rotation of the motor, a power assistance gear 50 operating the reproducing mode or the like, the locking plate 57 locking the operation of the reproducing mode or the like, and a stop gear 51 unlocking the lock, are provided to a tape recorder pressing a recording and reproducing head onto a tape and a foward pressing roller or a reverse pressing roller onto a capstan by utilizing the motor power. The gear 50 has tooth missing parts 50e, 50f and in exciting a trigger magnet fixed to the gear 50 to bring the mode into the reproducing state, the tooth missing part 50e is meshed with the gear 37 and turned by 180 deg., and the projecting part of a head plate is moved to a position 18a' and locked. The gear 51 is turned by the gear 50 at the operation stop and the lock is released by kicking the lock plate 57 by a cam part 51a. |
