PURPOSE:To suppress the rise of DC intermediate circuit voltage, by detecting the DC intermediate circuit voltage and providing the input to a frequency regulating circuit, when constant-voltage and constant-frequency power devices are parallel-operated. CONSTITUTION:The constant-voltage and constant-frequency power devices (hereinafter, CVCF) 1 and 20 of No.1 and No.2 are parallel-connected to each other, and a load 9 is connected to the devices and AC power is fed to. Both the CVCF 1 and 20 have the same configuration, and are provided with a rectifier 3, a smoothing capacitor 4 set on a DC intermediate circuit, and a thyristor inverter 5, and are composed of a voltage regulator 14, a frequency regulator 16, and the like. In this case, the DC intermediate circuit is provided with an intermediate circuit voltage detector 21, and a frequency generator 17 is worked so that a deviation between the detected voltage and set voltage may be prior to the output of the frequency regulator 16 via an intermediate circuit voltage regulator 23 and the output frequency of the inverter 5 may be heightened. Then, DC intermediate circuit voltage is lowered, and the inflow of active component cross current is eliminated.
