PURPOSE:To make the coupling of members firmly performable, by clamping a lock nut tight enough and, after coupling members together, heating a washer, and pressing a coupler, the lock nut and these members owing to a form memory effect of the washer. CONSTITUTION:A lock nut 4 and a washer 2 are fitted in an edge of bar steel 1 to be coupled. In addition, a tip of the threaded bar steel 1 is screwed from both ends of a coupler 3, coupling both together. Next, the lock nut 4 being fitted in the bar steel 1 in advance is clamped tight and the coupler 3 is locked thereto via the washer 2. After the lock nut is further clamped, the washer 2 is heated. In consequence, the washer 2 is restored owing to its own form memory effect, and with this restoring force, it presses the coupler 3 down.
