PURPOSE:To achieve effective change of turret heads by turning a swing arm with a new turret head attached to each of head clamping mechanisms of a pair of head support arms, and then turning the head support arms through actuation of a motor after heads installed on the machine are held by other clamping mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:Turret heads to be changed are attached to head clamping mechanisms 152a, 152c mounted on the distal end of a swing arm 82, respectively. Then, the arm 82 is turned through a predetermined angle around the axis through a motor 76 and transmission parts, and first and second machining devices 14, 16 are actuated to have heads 54, 54a held in engagement with clamping mechanisms 152b, 152d, respectively. Head support arms 136, 140 are turned by a motor 96 through an angle of substantially 180 deg. to place the heads to be changed between the devices 14, 16 to be held thereby, the thus change of heads can be performed at a time by a single device.
