A road vehicle part including a load carrying rear portion (A) of the road vehicle having upper (11) and lower (10) vertically spaced load bearing horizontal levels of load carrying capacity, extending substantially along the whole length of the vehicle. Space (14, 15) is provided at the lower level at the foreward end thereof for the accommodation of a front wheel drive motive unit (16) including a driver's cab and steerable axle suspension therefor. A front wheel drive motive unit (16) in combination with a driver's cab and steerable axle suspension, may be provided suitable for non-detachable attachment to the foreward end of the road vehicle part. |
