PURPOSE:To accurately visually facilitate an alignment between a photodetector and other components by forming a mark representing the center of the photodetector on the prolonged line of a substrate in the direction of the provision of photodetector arrays. CONSTITUTION:Common electrodes 15 and individual electrodes 16 are provided side by side on an ohmic connection layer 14 formed on a photoconductive film 13 at a prescribed interval and plural photodetectors 17... are arranged. Marks 18, 19 representing the center of the photodetectors 17 are formed on both ends 11a, 11a on the substrate 11 not formed with the photoconductive film 13 and the ohmic connection layer 14 on the prolonged line of the photodetectors 17 in the arranging direction and made of the same layer as the electrodes 15, 16. The common electrodes 15, the individual electrodes 16 and the marks 18, 19 are made of metallic thin film such as Ti thin film. Thus, the a SELFOC lens or the like for the picture reader and the photodetector 17 are aligned accurately while confirming the marks 18, 19 visually accurately.
