PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation and damage of a membranous body due to liq. pressure by applying a plate body having the slits extending in the liq. passage direction to both sides of the membranous body forming the liq. passage. CONSTITUTION:The membranous body is closely attached to both sides of the plate body 27 having plural slits 42 extending in the liq. passage direction and bars 43 orthogonally crossing the slits 42 to form a membrane unit. When the membrane unit is incorporated into a membrane body such as an electrophoretic device, the membrane sets are fixed to each other in parallel with a gasket and a sealing material in between, and the inside of the cell is separated into a first passage and a second passage. A raw liq. is introduced into the first passage formed by the slits 42 of the plate body 27 from an inlet pipe 28, and the soln. wherein the specified components are concentrated or diluted by electrophoresis is obtained from an outlet pipe 29.
