PURPOSE:To designate a color of a multi-color print by an input pen of a tablet by providing a designation means such as a color designation display or the like to a paper retainer provided in an effective region of the tablet. CONSTITUTION:Memo paper 10 is retained by the paper retainer 7, the input pen is used for input and a color corresponding to a print head 6 is displayed on the upper part of the paper retainer 7 by a color designation section 8 and when the input pen touches the paper, the print color of the print head 6 is changed correspondingly. Moreover, a control section 1 is provided with a color designation display device 9 to display contents of color designation and in which color the print head 6 resides. In receiving a coordinate by the input pen, the control section 1 allows a plotter printer 4 to print out the coordinate when the region is a picture drawing region and in case of the color designation region, the color is changed into a color designated by a print head 6. When the signal transmission to the printer 4 is finished, each signal is coded and modulated and the result is outputted to a telephone line 11. Thus, since the drawn picture input pen designates the color without any modification, the convenient usage. is enhanced.
