PURPOSE:To perform the multiprocessing of image information by storing and controlling the image information in a center data base, and accessing it from many remote terminal devices and using it in common. CONSTITUTION:A transmission line from a high-order station Ti-1 in a looped transmission link is incorporated to a demodulator DEM and a transmission line to a low-order station Ti+1 is incorporated to a modulator MOD. The circuit between the both constitutes a transmission frame and performs encoded transmission. Synchronism is held securely (by an inspection part PR) and a self-correction of an error is made to reduce a bit error rate. When the self-correction is impossible, transmission is carried out again. The transmission and reception of signals to and from a terminal device are based upon timing determined according to the transmission order of respective symbols in the transmit frame by a shift register SR, whose contents are transferred to a receiving register RD. This is attained by updating the contents of the shift register SR by the contents of a transmitting register SD. |
