PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a tip from occurring in an effective manner, by setting up a partial tip so as to make it differ from an axial rake angle of an main cutting edge of the remaining tip and the said partition one to make it differ from a radial rake angle of the remaining tip, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When machining takes place with both throwaway tips 6a and 6b in a way that each axial rake angle of a main cutting edge 10a of the throwaway tip 6a and another main cutting edge 10b of the throwaway tip 6b is differently set up, the direction of each impact force received by both main cutting edges 10a and 10b is different. In addition, a radial rake angle between these main cutting edges 10a and 10b is also differently set up whereby the direction of the impact force to be transferred to a cutter body 5 comes to very disorderliness. Therefore, the cutter body 5 is almost nothing of being chattered because of resonance, thus the breakage of these throwaway tips 6a and 6b is effectively preventable.
