CONSTITUTION:An image forming device is constituted by arranging a color separating function part consisting of plural kinds of fine small-island-shaped parts corresponding to light is a specific wavelength range on the light incidence side of a photoconductive layer, and small-island-shaped parts of the same kinds among the plural kinds of small-silant-shaped parts are arranged adjacently to one another, For example, the connection direction of respective unit filters of, for example, color separation filters R, G, and B is set to 90 deg. to the moving direction of the surface of a photosensitive body, and filters of the same kinds are provided adjacently to width a half as large as one side of a square unit filter. Consequently, the image forming device is obtained which is superior in resolution and gradient and increases image density sufficiently.
