PURPOSE:To ensure connection with a disk device having its improved performance by setting a storing means to store temporarily the data to be transferred between the disk device and a channel device and changing freely the data transferrate between said storing means and the channel device. CONSTITUTION:A disk control device 1 contains a data buffer 15 and the data transfer rate is freely changed between the buffer 15 and a channel device 2. Thus it is possible to select one of plural different data transfer rates between the device 2 and the device 1. As a result, the degree of freedom is secured to the data transfer rate and the to connect a disk device 3 directly to a conventional data processing system. Here the device 3 is newly developed and has its improved data transfer rate and improved memory capacity per device. |
