PURPOSE:To obtain a method which not only has the rationality of working but also is suitable for production of various kinds and small quantity of dial, by working a short-sized material on which five or more dials are arranged in series in one row. CONSTITUTION:In the process layout, pilot halls as working references of following processes are made in raw materials in the hoop state. Raw materials are cut to a fixed short size corresponding to ten dials. The press process is divided into center hole piercing, window piercing, and outside shape cutting. In this outside shape cutting, numerical control (NC) is performed with 'Diacompax(R)', and software is switched to immediately switch NC to working for the next dial type. In the next supporting leg adding process, NC is used and a bar- shaped supply material is cut to a prescribed length after welded. In the next surfacing process, the surface is ground with a silicone rubber roll by creep feed and up-cut while avoiding supporting legs. In the painting process, the short-sized material is delivered while having an unbinding material sucked by suction pads and in the printing process, a short-sized material feeding function is given to automatize the process. Positioning for final tie-bar cutting is performed by NC.
