PURPOSE:To improve the convenience of usage at the time of delivering hot water into a bath tub etc. by measuring the amount of hot water delivery by a water sensing device and stopping the hot water delivery by activating a water level control device when a certain water level is reached. CONSTITUTION:Based on input signals from an external input means 12 and delivered hot water temperature sensing means 4, a microcomputer 23 performs a computation so as to obtain a set hot water temperature and sends out electric signals to a fan 10 for combusting air, a gas proportioning valve 9 and a water level control device 5 to control them to obtain the set hot water temperature. When high-temperature hot water is selected by a switch of the external input means 12, water level data fed from a water sensing means 1 are cumulatively counted by the microcomputer 23 so that when a certain limit value is exceeded, an electrical signal may be sent out to the water level control device 5 to stop the hot water delivery. The convenience of usage can be improved because when delivering hot water to a bath tub etc., the hot water delivery is stopped automatically when the certain water level is reached even if a user forgets that hot water is being delivered.
