PURPOSE:To attain a quick potential response by providing a flow passage which has one end opened and has the other connected to a reference electrode and arranging the open end of this flow passage under the sensing surface of an indicating electrode. CONSTITUTION:A flow passage 4 which has one end opened and has the other connected to a reference electrode 3 is provided, and the open end of this flow passage 4 is arranged under a sensing surface 2 of an indicating electrode 1, and a liquid sending device 8 is so provided that a reference electrode liquid 9 flows out of the open end of the flow passage 4 through the reference electrode 3. The reference electrode liquid 9 flows out of the open end of the flow passage 4, which is arranged under the sensing film 2 of the indicating electrode 1, by the action of a liquid sending mechanism 8. In this case, a part of a sample solution sprayed to the indicating electrode 1 is brought into contact with the reference electrode liquid 9 in said open part to always stably form a new liquid junction. |
