PURPOSE:To obtain a planographic printing plate by a simple system without undergoing a wet process developing stage by providing a photosensitive layer contg. microcapsules contg. silver halide, reducing agent and polymerizable compd. as well as waterproofed hydrophilic binder on a waterproof base. CONSTITUTION:This original plate for planographic printing is constituted of the water-resistant base and the photosensitive layer which is provided on said base and contains the microcapsules contg. the silver halide, reducing agent and polymerizable compd. as well as the water-resistant hydrophilic binder. The transparent or translucent binder is more preferable as the hydrophilic binder and is exemplified by gelatin, gelatin deriv., cellulose deriv. such as carboxymethyl cellulose and methyl cellulose, natural materials like polysaccharides such as starch and gum arabic, and synthetic polymer materials such as water soluble polyvinyl compd. The lithographic printing plate is thereby easily obtd. without using a developing soln. after exposing. |
