RESIN COMPOSITION FOR ELECTRICAL LAMINATE

PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a curable prepolymer having (meth)acryloyl group at side chain terminal, a chlorine-containing flame- retardant monomer and a crosslinking vinyl monomer at specific ratios and having excellent flame-retardance, heat-resistance, water-resistance and draw- formability. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed mainly of a compounded liquid of a flame-retardant resin consisting of (A) 10-60wt% curable prepolymer having (meth)acryloyl group at side chain terminal and expressed by formula I [A is main chain part of a random copolymer of a vinyl monomer and a (meth)acryloyl monomer; R1-R3 are H or methyl; n is 0-5], (B) 5-50wt% chlorine-containing flame-retardant monomer of formula II (R is 1-18C aliphatic or alicyclic hydrocarbon group containing Br or Cl; the C atom bonded to O atom is primary or secondary carbon; n is 1-15) and (C) the remaining part of a crosslinking vinyl monomer [e.g. (substituted)styrene].
