<p>PURPOSE:To vary the moving factor of a cursor, by providing a movable mirror, and an optical detector group having the moving factor assigned corresponding to the position of the movable mirror on a mouse. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a pad 1, lines with different colors in a vertical and a horizontal lines and with constant width are printed in a matrix shape. A red and an infrared light emitting diode light sources 2 and 3 are provided in the chassis 11 of a mouse main body, and assuming that red light is reflected by the vertical line, and infrared light is reflected by the horizontal line, reflected light is condensed on a condenser lens 4, and is reflected on the movable mirror 5, and is detected at the optical detectors 6-9. When the movable mirror 5 is positioned at a reference position, the reflected light is detected at the optical detectors 6 and 7, and when the movable mirror 5 is pressed down, it is detected at the optical detectors 8 and 9. It is possible to vary the moving factor of the cursor based on the correspondence of the movable mirror 5 and the optical detectors 6-9.</p> |
