PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate, efficient and simple mold, while improving mechanical strength, heat conduction and heat resistance by a method in which the surface shape of the product formed of the shaping material of liquid synthetic resin is accurately traced, and the traced surface layer is lined with the block made by binding of metallic particles, and is formed. CONSTITUTION:A releasable film 17 made of sheet wax, etc. is formed on the shaping surface of the master 1 arranged in a frame 3. Next, the metallic particles compounded with liquid epoxy resin as a binder, is injected into the frame 3 until said frame is filled. A lining material 18 is formed by binding the metallic particles mutually by curing the liquid epoxy resin. Then, the frame 3 is removed from a platen 2. The through holes as the injection path 20 and the over flow path 21 of the shaping material of the liquid synthetic resin are provided at the suitable position of the lining material 18, and simultaneously, the releasable film 17 is peeled from the surface of the master 1, and the frame 3 is again set at the original position on the platen 2. Consequently, the air gap 19 in which the shaping material of the liquid synthetic resin is filled for shaping the cavity surface between the master 1 and the lining material 18, is formed. The shaping material 22 of the liquid synthetic resin is injected from the injection path 20 until said material overflows from the over flow path 21, and is cured, and then it is taken away from the platen 3 with the frame. Thus, a cavity mold is formed. |
