PURPOSE:To prevent the output of an optical fiber from being deteriorated by positional shear by fitting stress interrupting parts for interrupting the transmission of external stress to a dual line type package by their bent parts to a bottom plate part for fitting the dual line type package. CONSTITUTION:Plural screwing holes 12 are formed on the fitting plate 11 for the dual line type package 3 with a certain interval, the fitting plate 11 is fitted to a base or a radiating plate 13 or the like through screws inserted into the holes 12 and grooves 14 are formed on the fitting plate 11 between the holes 12. The grooves 14 constitute the stress interrupting parts for interrupting the transmission of external stress to the package 3 by their bent parts. Namely, the action of the external stress to the package 3 can be surely interrupted by bending the fitting plate 11 at the groove parts and concentrating the external stress into the grooves 14. consequently, the output of the optical fiber can be prevented from being deteriorated by the relative position deviation among a semiconductor light emitting element, a coupling optical system and the optical fiber.
