PURPOSE:To accelerate the processing of a list data, by performing comparison operations simultaneously for each element of the list data in plural processing units. CONSTITUTION:A memory device 1 stores the list data as the list data of the list form consisting of an address part representing the position of a node, and a value part representing the reference of a data value. The list data is transferred to a data register device 3 in the processing unit 8 via a shift device 5. The comparing arithmetic calculation of the list data is calculation to investigate the structure of the list data, and whether atom elements are equal or not, and comparison operations are performed simultaneously for each element of the list data by a comparing device 4 provided with the plural processing units. In such way, it is possible to perform search for elements in the list data or a partial list easily and at high speed, and to perform a processing to take out the partial list or a matching processing, etc., efficiently.
