PURPOSE:To permit automatic dilution of samples without using a device to be exclusively used for dilution by constituting a titled instrument in such a manner that a sample dispensing nozzle of the instrument passes over a sample supplying position and two specific positions on a reaction line. CONSTITUTION:A turn table T is rotated counterclockwise by a prescribed angle to move a cell 2 to the diluting liquid dispensing position B when a sample dispensing operation into the reaction cell 2 ends. A prescribed amt. of the diluting liquid is then dispensed into the cell 2 by using the diluting and dispensing device 9. The table T is thereafter rotated counterclockwise to move the cell 2 to the 1st stirring position C where the sample and diluting liquid are stirred by a 1st stirrer 10. The table T is further rotated counterclockwise to move the cell 2 to the diluted liquid mixture sucking position D. The sample dispensing nozzle N is thereafter moved to the position D and the diluted liquid mixture in the cell 2 is sucked into the nozzle N. The diluted liquid mixture in the nozzle N is dispensed into the fresh clean cell 2 which is turned and reset to the nozzle N subjected to the suction and is already turned to the position A while the table T is held stopped. |
