PURPOSE:To improve the strength at high temp. and structural stability of the titled alloy to be obtained, by controlling compositional limit values and specifying treating conditions. CONSTITUTION:An alloy having a composition which consists of, by weight, 5-10% Co, 5-10% Cr, 9-15% W, 1-5% Mo, 4.5-6% Al, 5-10% Ta, and the balance essentially Ni and in which (W+Mo+Ta)=17-24% is satisfied is subjected to unidirectional solidification so as to be formed into single crystal. The above alloy is subjected to solution heat treatment, to rapid cooling, and then to age precipitation treatment so as to be formed into the titled alloy. Moreover, it is desirable that, in the above solution heat and age precipitation treatments, the single crystal is heated at 1,315-1,350 deg.C for 3-5hr to undergo complete liquefaction of the solidified structure, cooled rapidly down to <=760 deg.C, and heated again up to 800-1,100 deg.C. By the above constitution, this alloy has high strength at high temp. and superior structural stability, so that it can raise gas inlet temp. when used for moving blades for high pressure turbine and make engines highly efficient.
