PURPOSE:To reduce the damage of drafts as much as possible, and to make it possible to take the SAD mode operation, by stacking the drafts on a stack furnished near a reversing device, in case of the mode other than the RADF mode. CONSTITUTION:In case of the ADF or SAD mode, only one sheet of the drafts set with the image facing upward on a table 3 is separated and turned over by a separating roller 5 and a blocking belt 7, and delivered to a conveyer belt 17. After an exposure, it is turned over by a reversing roller 21 and discharged on a stack 30 by converting pawls 25 and 28, and an exhaust roller 29. In case of RADF mode, after the draft is turned over by the reversing roller 21, it is returned to the table 3, and in case of the both sides mode, the draft is delivered to the conveyer belt 17 which is driven inversely, through the reversing roller 21, and returned to the stack 30 for the both-side-exposed drafts, or to the original table 3. In such a way, as well as the damage of the drafts in the mode other than the RADF mode can be reduced as much as possible, the operation of the SADF mode is also adaptable, and the scope of application of drafts can be expanded.
