PURPOSE:To concentrate magnetic fluxes thereby to increase the number of total magnetic fluxes by providing axial center cores and side yokes at respective drive coils. CONSTITUTION:A 4-phase stepping motor 10 has a frame 12, a stator yoke 14 secured to its mount 12, and a housing 16. A rotary shaft 22 is rotatably supported to both ends of the frame 12, and a rotor disk 26 is secured. A plurality of first circular-arclike drive coils 28-30 are disposed on a first curvature radius region on the flat surface of a stator yoke 14, and second circular-arclike drive coils 32-34 are disposed on a second curvature radius region. Axial center cores 36-42 are disposed at the centers of the coils 28-34, magnetic flux concentrating axial side yokes 44-50' are extended from the cores, and both ends are closed at axial walls 44''-50''. Thus, the magnetic fluxes of the coils 28-34 are concentrated to prevent the magnetism from being leaked. |
