PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a stepping motor by supporting a rotor by a bobbin bearing integral with a bobbin thereby to reduce components. CONSTITUTION:Ringlike coils 10a, 10b are wound on synthetic resin bobbins 4a, 4b, and a hole for inserting pectinated pole teeth of a mounting plate yoke 3 is opened at the end face of the bobbin 4a, and a hole for inserting pectinated pole teeth of a frame yoke 1 is opened at the end face of the bobbin 4b to form first and second stators together with inner yokes 2a, 2b. A rotor is composed of a rotor member 7 for securing a permanent magnet 8 and a shaft 9, and supported to bobbin bearings 5a, 5b integral with the end faces of both the bobbins 4a, 4b. In this case, two or more positioning projections 36a, 36b are disposed at the end faces of the bobbins 4a, 4b. Further, holes to be engaged with the projections 36a, 36b are disposed at the yokes 1-3. Thus, the axis reference of the bearings 5a, 5b and the inner peripheral axis reference of the yoke pole teeth at the projections 36a, 36b become the same axis reference.
