PURPOSE:To obtain the stable ignition timing and prevent erroneous operation by using a noise masking circuit together with zero cross ignition. CONSTITUTION:A switching means operated by the voltage of a power source spark coil and the voltage of a signal coil is used so that mask is released in the front half cycle among the wave forms in the continuous one cycle of the signal coils 16 and 19, and the power source spark coil 1 starts charge for condensers 58 and 59 and at the same time, masking is performed again. Thus, the erroneous operation due to noise can be prevented. Further, a voltage comparator 28 is installed into a signal circuit, and the ignition signal on the basis of the detection of zero cross of the voltage of the signal coil is outputted by increasing the signal bias voltage higher than the standard voltage. Since the generated voltage of the signal coils 16 and 19 is generated also immediately after the ignition timing of other cylinders, added with the regular ignition timing, the regular cylinder is triggered necessarily earlier than other cylinders when mask is released, and the erroneous distribution due to noise can be prevented.
