PURPOSE:To simplify an automatic choke structure, by coupling a force point portion of a push lever engagable with a fast idle cam with the tip of a thermowax plunger through an overstroke spring. CONSTITUTION:A fast idle cam 6 is fixed idly to the valve shaft 2 of a choke valve 3. A thermowax plunger 14 is arranged at the end of a thermowax 13 and an idle adjust screw 14b is screwed over the tip of a plunger body 14a. An overstroke spring 17 is fitted over the idle adjust screw 14b. The thermowax plunger 14 and the push rod 23 of the fast idle cam 6 are coupled through a single push lever 18. Consequently, the number of parts in an automatic choke mechanism can be reduced and said structure can be simplified.
