PURPOSE:To remove oil mist completely, even if containing much of mist, by installing filter boxes in multi-stages and removable, communicating with casings equipped with rotating filters. CONSTITUTION:Part of the air containing oil mist sucked from a suction line 2 into a casing 1 by a suction means 7 is adsorbed to a filter components 12 in a pretreatment box 3. Then, the air containing oil mist, having passed the pretreatment boxes 3, comes into a rotating filter 9, and oil mist is adsorbed and turned into oil drops to be collected from a drained pipe 16. Further, the air containing oil mist, having passed through the rotating filter 9, passes through multi-stage filter boxes 5, 18 and 22 provided removably, and the remaining oil mist is adsorbed to filter components 17, 21 and 27. The purified air is exhausted out of an exhaust vent 24.
