PURPOSE:To enable accurate measurement, by a method wherein liposome, formed from yolk lecithin and cholesterol and sealed with a marker substance inside, and streptolysin O are added to an object to be inspected to react and the marker substance released from the liposome is measured. CONSTITUTION:First, streptolysin O is added to an object to be inspected to react. This reaction is preferably performed at 37 deg.C for about 30min. Then, a liposome, formed from yolk lecithin and cholesterol and sealed with a marker substance inside is added to the reaction liquid to further react. In this reaction, an excess of streptolysin O left from the preceding reaction breaks liposome sealed with the marker substance and the corresponding amount of the marker substance is released. This reaction is preferably performed at 37 deg.C for about 30min. Thus, anti-streptolysin O value in the object being inspected can be determined by measuring the amount of the marker substance released thereby enabling accurate measurement.
