<p>PURPOSE:To staple sheets of an arbitrary size by providing a sheet aligning means and a stapling means as well as an input means for inputting the size of a sheet which is fed from an arbitrary size sheet feeding part and a control means for controlling said sheet aligning means based on the input. CONSTITUTION:When sheets of an arbitrary size are fed from the arbitrary size sheet feeding part of a connected image forming device 10, the size of the sheets P is inputted by an input means C. And, as the sheets P of the arbitrary size are carried out from the image forming device into a sheet after- treatment device U and conveyed to a staple part 6 through a defined route, the sheet aligning means 71, 72 of the staple part 6 align the sheets P carried out of the image forming device 10 based on the size of the sheet P inputted from the input means C. And, the aligned sheets P are stapled by a staple means 51.</p> |
