PURPOSE:To reduce shimmies by inserting a coil spring in a suspension damper via an elastic seat and fitting a mass member to the elastic seat to constitute a dynamic damper. CONSTITUTION:During the travel, an outer tube 11, an inner tube 12, piston rod 13, upper end lower spring seats 20, 21, and an elastic seat 23 are moved back and forth and twisted together by the twisting force and longitudinal force applied to a suspension damper 10. In this case, a mass member 31 is rotated relatively to the suspension damper 10 while torsion-deforming the extended section 23a of the elastic seat 23 to absorb the torsional resonance. According to this constitution, high and low-speed shimmies can be reduced. |
