The liquid filtration apparatus, according to the invention, is of the type comprising a body 1, a disposable filter cartridge 2 attached to the body 1, a suction and discharge pump 3, an entry 4 for liquid to be filtered, an exit 5 for filtered liquid, a liquid circulation conduit 6, between the entry 4 and the exit 5, in which the filter cartridge 2 is placed transversely. The filter cartridge 2 comprises rigid carrying means 7 which have a base plate 8 and a side wall defining a hollow 10 in which filtering means 11 are housed, namely, superposed starting with the plate 8, a membrane 13 which traps the germs and the bacteria, a layer of air 14, an anticolloid layer 15 and a carbon-based layer 7.
