PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility of an image by setting the printing timing of respective image data by an image printing means based on reading position data stored in an image position memory means at the time of printing an image. CONSTITUTION:The reading position data on an original image, in which an image reading means 27 reads the image data, are detected by an image position detecting means 17, and the detecting result is stored into an image position memory means 23. At the time of printing an image, a printing timing is set based on the reading position data stored in the image position memory means 17. Consequently, at the time of reading the image and/or at the time of printing the image, the scanning speed exceeds the maximum processing speed of an image reading means 27 and/or an image printing means 7, and even then, the printing position corresponding to the reading position is obtained, and the image data can be printed to the position. Thus, the copied image is not expanded and reduced in a scanning direction and the reproducibility is improved. |
