The present invention relates to a device for securing a monoski or a snowboard on a means of transport. It comprises a lower plate 1a fastened onto the monoski or the snowboard, forming the lower jaw of one or two juxtaposed clamps. The upper jaws are each formed from a folded plate 8, 9 having a flat part 8a, 9a in contact with the lower jaw 1a. The articulation of each upper jaw with the lower jaw is produced by a spindle 14; 15 passing through the uprights 4, 5; 6, 7 of the lower jaw and of the cheeks 10, 11; 12, 13 of the upper jaw 8, 9. The clamp is held in the closed position by a spring 16, 17. This device makes it possible, in particular, to secure the monoski or the snowboard onto the baskets equipping gondolas (bubbles) and cable cars. <IMAGE>
