PURPOSE:To obtain the titled view finder having high reliability by providing the linear marker of a horizontal reference and/or a vertical reference, on the image forming surface of an optical video or an electrical video or in a screen frame in the vicinity of the image forming surface. CONSTITUTION:When a video 2b displayed on an image surface 2a is kept horizontal normally, the horizon of the video 2b becomes parallel to the horizontal reference line of a reference marker 4a of a marker display plate 4 and also, the vertical line of the video 2b becomes parallel to the vertical reference line of the reference marker 4a. Also, when a video camera (not shown in the figure) is inclined and the reference marker 4a is inclined against the image 2b, it with suffice that a photographer corrects the inclination of the video camera, and the reference marker 4a serves for giving its warning to the photographer. In such a way, the horizontal and/or vertical reference marker is displayed in accordance with a screen in the view finder, therefore, the device can be obtained at low cost, and that which has high reliability is obtained.
