The wheel fork (2) and the bearing housing (4) of the castor (1) are formed by a single-component drawn and stamped element. In the bearing housing (4) there is a deep groove ball bearing (5) which is fixed in its position by means of partial headings (13) on the inner wall of the bearing housing (4). A sealing ring (11) which seals the deep groove ball bearing (5) from above is inserted into the bearing housing bore (14). The castor (1) is attached to a vehicle (15) by means of a hexagonal head screw (8) which is guided through the deep groove ball bearing (5). By means of this measure a reduction in the number of components with simultaneous improvement in the mechanical loadability of the castor is achieved.
