PURPOSE:To improve the low-temp. fixability, offset resistance and flow characteristic by incorporating a specific copolymer and release agent into the titled toner. CONSTITUTION:The block- or graft copolymer (A) formed by chemical bonding of >=two kinds of crystalline polymers respectively having >=45 deg.C m.p. and >=30 deg.C difference in the m.p. and the release agent (B) having <=4 penetration are incorporated into the toner. The crystalline polymer (e.g.: polyester) constituting the component A has preferably 3,000-50,000 weight average mol.wt. and 1,000-20,000 number average mol.wt. The copolymer is formed by the coupling reaction between the terminal functional groups existing in the respective polymers or the bonding of the terminal functional groups of the respective polymers and a bifunctional coupling agent. The m.p. of the component B (e.g.: wax) is 50-120 deg.C and the content ratio thereof is preferably 0.5-20wt%. |
