PURPOSE:To shorten a time required up to the completion of restoring operation of all data after starting the writing of compressed data in a data buffer and to speed up the restoring processing by providing the titled system with a restoration waiting means, a restoration control means, a comparing means, and so on. CONSTITUTION:A write control circuit 102 sends a write signal 103, a writing signal 104 and a write requesting signal 118 respectively to a data buffer 101, a restoration waiting circuit 137 and a comparator 117. The comparator 117 compares the output 114 of an RIC register 107 with the output 115 of a counter ROC109 and outputs an address coincidence signal 119 to the circuit 137. The circuit 137 outputs a restoration waiting signal 139 for specifying the start/stop of restoring operation to a restoration control circuit 110 on the basis of the signal 119 and a continuous data sending signal 138. Consequently, the circuit 110 executes the restoring operation every end of writing of a unit block in the buffer 101, and in case of continuous data, executes the restoring operation continuously independently of the writing. Thereby, the time required up to the completion of restoration of all the data can be shortened and the restoration processing can be speeded up.
