PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by oxidizing 4- alkylacetophenone or 4-alkoxyacetophenone of formula III, condensing the obtained compound of formula IV with a glycinamide hydrochloride of formula NH2CH2CONH2.HCl to obtain the compound of formula V, reacting the compound with a chlorination agent (e.g. phosphorus trichloride) to convert OH to Cl and reacting with 1-10pts. of a metal alkoxide based on 1pt. of the reaction product.
