The invention relates to a device for an automatic raising and removing formwork used in the construction of concreting structural components in the building industry. The machine is made up of a rigid base, a central column 1 and a frame on the ground matching the shape of the space 2 to be concreted. Eight movable raising elements surround the frame and are held by two times eight connecting rods to a central ring actuated by a motor. By reversing the motor, the raising elements are pushed towards the outside of the base and locked by the end of travel of the connecting rods. The raising elements are then assembled by friction and exhibit, on the outside, a plane and leaktight surface. When the concreting is completed and dried, the running of the motor is reversed, all the raising elements detach themselves with energy from the concrete and resume their initial positions. The octopus is released and can be transported by means of the service crane. All these operations are carried out without labour except for the starting up of the motor. <IMAGE>
