<p>The invention relates to a probe holder for fixing an echography probe 1 on a measurement zone. It comprises a base 2 fitted with hooks 12 for the fastening of straps, support means 3, 19, 22, 24 for the probe which are integral with the base, comprising means for elastic pressure on the probe in order to apply it constantly on the measurement zone, and a ring 4 for locking the support means on the base. These support means consist of a pivot 3 engaged in abutment in the base 2, a jaw 19 applied on the probe 1, a sheath 22, 23 surrounding the jaw and integrated with the pivot 3 and a spring 25 located between the sheath and the jaw, the jaw guiding the probe in translation with respect to the pivot. The sheath consists of a tubular part 22 and a nut 23 screwed on the tubular part. The tubular part 22 is fitted with a slot 27 in which a stop screw 26, integral with the jaw 19, slides. The jaw 19 is mounted elastically in relation to the sheath 22 using a spiral spring 25 mounted on a shoulder 19a of the jaw and actuated by the end of the nut 24.
